    This collection of 115 newspaper and magazine clippings, compiled by John Watt, relate to ships which have foundered, sunk or gone missing. The articles feature stories on the sinking of HMAS AUSTRALIA (I) and of the MALABAR, the dismasting of the HOUGOMONT, loss of YONGALA, wreck of the COOMA and URANA, grounding of HERZOGIN CECILIE, foundering of ANNINE M MILLER and the collier KIAMA, and a number of articles on stranded ships, wrecked trawlers, fires on ships and rescues of crew and passengers. The clippings span the period 1924 - 1985.
