    This postcard produced by the Communist Party of Australia depicts a falling bomb decorated with the American flag and the phrase 'No Attack on Iraq'. The reverse of the postcard reveals that it was addressed to the then Prime Minister John Howard, and requested that the government opposes the war on Iraq and denies the use of Pine Gap facility.
    SignificanceThis postcard highlights some of the beliefs of those opposed to the war in Iraq and the use of the Pine Gap facility as part of the operation against terrorism. It also acknowledges the defence alliance between Australia and the United States.
