    Photographs of commercial shipping and shipping sites in Sydney and Port Kembla around 1960, and a map of Broken Bay and other photographs collected by John Gonsalves, a Maritime Services Board overseer in the late 1950s and early 1960s.
    SignificanceThese items are an interesting record of the working harbours of Sydney and Port Kembla in the 1950s and 60s. Several images show what is now the site of the ANMM.
    HistoryThe Album has 2 photos per page and is captioned in white ink. It includes subjects such as visiting overseas naval ships, working on wharves, wharf construction and shed construction at 7 and 8 berths at Pyrmont, coal berths at Balmain, unloading heavy cargo, Port Kembla Wharves, dredging.
