HistoryThe ROBERT MILLER 37,675 gross tons, 67059 dwt. Lbd: 785' x 108' x 43'. (239.3 x 32.3 metres) single screw, diesel engine and 16.5 knots, was an oil tanker built for the company R W Miller and Co. It was constructed by Evans Deakin in Brisbane in 1974.

Completion had been delayed due to a number of floodings in the Brisbane River. and the vessel broke its moorings and went adrift on the Brisbane River, only to rescued by the local tugboats and secured safely.

The ROBERT MILLER had 'luxury' accommodation for its crew. Each seaman had his own room, which was carpeted and had air conditioning, refrigerator, toilet and shower. In 1980 the vessel was taken over by Howard Smith Industries Pty Ltd, Melbourne. It was sold in 1987 and renamed REGENT STAR and in 1988, LISA. In 1989 it was renamed ONDA AZZURRA under an Italian flag, then called EDOVIA in 1997 by Arundel Shipping Ltd, Malta. The vessel was scrapped in 2000.
