    History'Neptune's Daughter' was a musical romantic comedy released in 1949 by Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer. The film was directed by Edward Buzzell and starred Esther Williams, Red Skelton and Ricardo Montalbán. It was the third movie that paired Esther Williams and Ricardo Montalbán together. Williams played the role of Eve Barrett, a swimsuit designer in the film. Red Skelton played the role of Jack Spratt, a masseuse who falls in love with Eve's sister Betty at a polo club, and who poses as the Latin polo star Jose O'Rourke (Ricardo Montalbán) in order to gain her affection. Williams discovered she was pregnant during the filming to husband Ben Gage.
