HistoryBond hooks were made by a man who worked in the Bond Pickup Centre, they were a copy of the Andy Land hook but were considered inferior. They are recognisable as the metal is squared near the handle and a horse nail has been used to hold the hook to the handle. Bond hooks cost around 30 shillings in the 1950s. Though good for appearance the chrome tended to scratch off.
