    Description
Adjustable khaki cadet or engineer's cap from WWII merchant marine, in the style of those that would have been worn by the crew of the Liberty ship SS JEREMIAH O'BRIEN
HistoryThe Liberty ship was a class of cargo ship built in the United States during World War II to replace losses in the British merchant marine due to German U-Boats. The ships were mass produced and were purchased both for the US fleet and lend-lease deliveries of war materiel to Great Britain and the Soviet Union.
