    Plan of SS BONNIE DUNDEE built by Gourlay Bros & Co Dundee in 1877 for George Wallace & Bruce Baird Nicoll & Co, Sydney.
    HistoryBuilt for George and Bruce Nicoll, Sydney, and intended for trade from the Richmond River, launched at Dundee 28 Mar 1877 it arrived in Sydney on 18 July 1877.

    While under charter, the vessel, captained by John Alexander Stuart, was run into by SS BARRABOOL, on 10 March 1879, cut in two and sunk with the loss of five lives. The wreck is off Lake Macquarie.
