    A plywood single racing type surf ski with leather foot straps.
    SignificanceThis type of ski was popular for about 20 years, it was used in competition and also recreationally as well as for rescues.
    HistoryThis type of surf ski replaced the Robson ski (00000718) and was popular for about 20 years. It was used in competition and also recreationally as well as for rescues, the latter less a time went on. The hollow construction and sleek plan shape made it very fast if difficult to maneuverer.
    It is understood this ski belongd to Fred Notting, who was the New South Wales Surfboard Champion in 1944 and1945.
