SignificanceThe Queenscliff Boardriders Club is illustrative of the growth of the surfing industry in Australia, both as a leisure pursuit and as a competitive sport locally and internationally.
History"Queenscliff Boardriders Club was established from humble beginnings in 1978 and has been at the forefront of club surfing in Australia ever since. The QBC mission statement reads " To nurture and enhance the competitive levels of all our surfers while providing a friendly and family orientated environment for all our members".

QBC is the only club within Australia to have won The Quicksilver Surfleague National Series, Jim Beam National Surftag Series, Milo Gromtag Series and Globe Pro Junior Teams Challenge. Put simply, we surf to win!!
