HistoryThis photograph is part of collection of papers belonging to Wesley Arthur Stanley who was a draughtsman Cockatoo Island Dockyard between 1908 - 1950's. Stanley began his career at Cockatoo Island as an apprentice turner and fitter in 1909. He completed his apprenticeship on 06 June 1914 and began working as a junior draftsman by September of that year.
