    • Postcard with a hand-written title (illegible) Postmarked 27 Feb. 1933 Addressed to Mr Oscar Speck, Veles (Vardar Bonawina), Poste restante, Yugoslavia Sender: E. Speck, Germany, Hamburg-Altona, Roonstr. 45 Altona, 24 Feb. 1933 Text: Dear Oskar, You probably think I’m a real lazybones. I obviously can’t write letters. Well, you’ll be happy with cards, too, won’t you? If you have weather like we have here, then you won’t be going back to paddling for a while. Here we have snow and frost. At lunchtime it thaws and in the evening it freezes. You haven’t got your boat yet? Here everybody is busy with the March elections: parades and noise all the time. Now farewell until the birthday. Heinerle, mummy and I will be writing. Best regards, your Emmi.
