    • Oskar Speck 10 Apil 1939 Currently: Hollandia German Consulate Makassar On arival in Hollandia on 8 Apil I received your kind letter of 9 February, 1939. I also received the amount of fl.30.00. Thank you very much for your letter and your intended assistance. However, I must respectfully ask you to inform the Consulate General that I can no longer accept any assistance from the [German] Aid Association in the Dutch Indies. Contrary to all their assurances they let me down enormously; they didn't even bother to reply in spite of a prepaid telegram. Due to the consequences that had for me, I was forced to send a complaint to the Reichsminister and Deputy to the Fuhrer, in whose hands I leave it to decide upon appropiate measures. Having left the Dutch Indies I hope to keep myself above water without needing to impose upon our expatiate Aid Associations, in the same way I did before I arived there. Thanking you again, Heil Hitler\ Oskar Speck P.S. For the sake of simplicity I.. .receipt..
