    Translation
    • Pionier Faltbootwerft [Pionier Shipyard for Collapsible Boats] Via Airmail Mr. Oskar Speck Manokwari/ Dutch New Guinea Poste restante 6.12.1938 Dear Mr. Speck, We confirm receipt of your letter dated 14 October and are pleased to hear that the boat was in good condition when you took charge of it. We traced your new route on the map with much interest. We hope you successfully managed to complete the two long and technically difficult crossings to the Kai islands and to New Guinea successfully. We are, of course, very keen to receive more pictures, which would be especially useful in the new brochure we are currently preparing, so we look forward to hearing from you soon. Our best wishes continue to be with you. Heil Hitler German salutations Signature
