    Translation
    • Pionier Faltbootwerft [Pionier Shipyard for Collapsible Boats] Mr. Oskar Speck No. 64, Int. Comp. 140 Loveday South Australia 11.3.44 Dear Mr. Speck, Today we received your card of November 1943 with the kangaroo and thank you belatedly for your good wishes. We also received your other letter which, unfortunately, had been torn to shreds; but we wrote to you about that on 15/01/44. We hope together with you that this year will lead to the end of the war and, accordingly, to the end of your captivity. Kind regards, Signatures
