    These 38 documents relate to the legal case of Captain Frank Leslie following his dismissal as a Sydney Harbour pilot on medical grounds in 1920. They consist of three statements made by Leslie; one attachment regarding the case of Captain F Leslie; one extract from the minute paper for the Executive Council (Department of Navigation), dispensing with the services of Captain F Leslie; two sets of interview notes from the Department of Navigation; one declaration from the Department of public health relating to Leslie; 17 letters from the Dept of Navigation and Sullivan Brothers Solicitors relating to the legal case and 13 memorandums between the Dept of Navigation and the Under Secretary, Finance and Trade relating to the Leslie case.
